Prayers for God's blessing for same-sex couples take step forward after Synod debate

The Bible is clear that marriage is for one man and one woman and any other form of relationship is not of God - it is a sin. This is not a popular view in culture where anything is acceptable and to not accept an action or feeling is to hate the person (despite that not being a Biblical approach). In this General Synod the proposals from the House of Bishops to provide blessings for same-sex couples were approved.

This approval of these blessings accepts blessing what God has called a sin. As such it is a deviation from the scriptures, the Church of England in a motion submitted by the House of Bishops has consciously decided to follow culture rather than the Bible. What society says and feels has been placed above God's own words and views.
